We chose your bricks for a simple reason. We found what we were looking for - a simple brick that resembles our classic burnt brick. The brick we finally chose had a pleasing character and soft tonality. You have a very comprehensive showroom where you can see the bricks in a real outdoor environment, where you can compare them and think enough to make the right choice. There are several qualities that can be highlighted about classic facing brick - its longevity and durability, the stability of the surface and, in our case, the double-clad design of the ventilated façade - one of the best technical options. The choice of brick was related to the location and tradition of the houses in South Moravia, with the possibility of connecting or interpreting this traditional material in a modern way.

When creating an apartment in the spirit of an industrial loft, bricks are an essential part of the design. Rustique’s bricks are beautiful, natural, not cast concrete nor any other artificial substitute. Each brick is unique and the material it is  made of gives the apartment an incredible atmosphere.

In our studio we use bricks quite often – on the facades of houses, buildings or in the interior. We have been cooperating with Rustique already for a long time. The aim of the project was to create a new iconic building in the town of Dunajská Streda, improving the urban features of the old football stadium, which, as a barrier, prevented the connection of the surrounding streets and the city park. The idea was to break up large areas into smaller units and soften their appearance through the chosen materials and their colors. We used perforated aluminium cladding strips in cool tones alongside the large concrete and metal structures and chose brick cladding and brick paving in warm tones as a contrast. The use of small brick materials resulted in a pleasing texture and their perfect detailed workmanship. We have been working with Rustique for decades, and we recommend and design their time-tested bricks in many of our projects, whether they are residential, commercial, industrial or office buildings.

The aim of the projects was to create superior housing in a location close to the city center.

The intention was to achieve in each house and apartment a functional layout, airiness, lightness, views of the city combined with privacy for each client.

It is a proven element in architecture. We chose brick cladding because we wanted to achieve maintenance-free facades. Equally important for us was the minimalist look of the bricks, which we consider timeless. Brick has been used for as long as architecture has been made. The desired result has clearly been achieved.
